Sadly, I've been unable to get ahold of a copy of Promethean. The local Warhammer club-- er, gaming store apparently didn't order anything last week. I'd rather not resort to online ordering if I can help it. Besides, if I ordered it tonight, by the time it would get here the local stores would have it in.
That was gaming-related, wasn't it?
Okay, um... has anyone else been watching Metalocalypse? That's a great show... I dunno what it is that gets my attention. I'm not even a metal fan, but I just find the show to be pure entertainment.
Also, I'm toying with the idea of transferring to WVU for the remainder of my English degree. Even though I changed to an English major a couple of years ago, I'm still stuck on a course catalog from 1999, which is not only outdated but also doesn't support any decent writing options. More recent catalogs do, and I don't know if the university would be willing to work out some sort of update. I've emailed my advisor about it, and when as expected she tells me there's nothing she can do, I'll ask the head of the department if there's any reason why I shouldn't be taking my tuition dollar to WVU instead (and with FSU's rising tuition lately, the only real difference would be the gas of driving to Morgantown-- where I spend half the week anyways). Also, there's the minor-- but still annoying thing where the semester of Japanese I took a couple of years ago doesn't count towards my foreign language requirements because the university doesn't teach it any more. Which my advisor claims she can't do anything about. It's a good thing that advisors are necessary for the students to do almost anything, right? I mean, it's not like they provide a useful resource.
And it occurs to me that while I keep planning out these huge personal posts where I go on about what's happening in my life, when I sit down to write them I can never really think of anything worth discussing. Crap.
