And now, as is traditional for me, a post where I share the first sentence of the first post I made each month this year (not counting reposts of Twitter stuff):
January-- So, during my little vacation I've managed to get a little bit of work done on this story.
February-- For those of you who haven't noticed/heard, my connection's been complete and utter shit this past week or so.
March-- Things have been quiet on the western front.
April-- Random discussion topic: Which would you rather do, drunkenly confess your love for someone or have someone drunkenly confess their love for you?
May-- Work on Child of the Machine is chugging right along.
June-- Okay, I realize I've been a little more neglectful than usual.
July-- After a number of delays too stupid or embarrassing to get into, I've finally got these finished.
August-- For those of you who haven't heard, I'll be at Gencon this coming weekend.
September-- I'm a little ashamed to admit that I didn't make any LJ posts in September that weren't just crossposts from my Twitter feed. (I think in general, the ease of using Twitter to share little thoughts combined with my finally getting used to G+ has greatly impacted my LiveJournal use)
October-- I've been putting this off and putting this off because I've been lazy and half-blocked and since I just recently got a new keyboard I decided giving everyone an update as to what I've been up to would be a good opportunity to try it out.
November-- And yet another month where I didn't post anything to LJ. Whoops.
December-- Just making sure anyone following this space and not G+ knows that after Christmas, I'm going to be visiting friends in Texas for a week and a half.
As I type this, I'm visiting some good friends in Texas (as you should all know by now), getting in some relaxation and catching up on some reading. Not really sure what to say about this year in general other than things are starting to pick up a bit (a few dark spots notwithstanding), and that I think I have a solid plan for getting my life in the direction I want it going in the coming year. Here's hoping.
